Excellent except for food

The ac was too low. It was hot inside the airplane.

My flight got cancelled and chat deals and the japan airlines failed to notify me. I had to book another flight last minute and pay double what I had originally. Bad customer service from both chatdeal and japan airlines. Never will use them again. Waste of time and money

Breakfast food has no choice and served seafood rice is really despairing.

JAL staff is always super professional, polite, and helpful. The ground staff in Japan were exceptionally helpful by solving our connection problems perfectly.

I am request a total refund and suffering. Fight JL7519 from Miami to Los Angeles on June 9. I paid my Covid test $300usd (antigen then PCR). I also booked three Hong Kong Hotels. W's Hotel, then Homy inn North point. The last Hotel was with Japan agent, he said Regal Hong Kong is "fine" but after I booked and paid the Hotel. Then the Japan airlines said "no". I lost my non-refundable hotel money and didn't get the ticket to go to Hong Kong. Please refund my money. 435-363-9297. fly from Miami to Hong Kong kyle Au. stopped in Los Angeles.

The number of flights available from the west coast US to southeast Asia has been severely reduced to the covid pandemic so flyers do not have all the options as in the past. So I reluctantly flew on JAL despite all the negative reviews [Spoiler: the reviews were correct]. Although I was pleased with the efficiency of the flight, the sincerity of the crew, and the high quality meals, the substandard business class accommodations made the whole flight uncomfortable. The chair was small, cramped, lumpy, and offered little privacy. It by no means compares to business class on China Eastern or Singapore Airlines -- the groups I usually fly. JAL will need to significantly upgrade business class if I consider this flight in the future.

JAL should allow the clients to bypass a travel agency in order to manage the flights. Otherwise we are hostages of the travel agencies."

The airline required documentation from my fathers doc which I provided. He was not going anywhere for at least a year (radiation and chemo) and the denied even credit.I was able to get my parents tickets refunded by a different airline. NEVER Again. my father passed 8/12/2018. Our trip was scheduled for 9/13/2018. Very disappointing.see"

Prós: "What sets JAL apart is the quality of service both on the ground and in the air. As customers, even in economy, no request was too minor to be treated as the most important of the day. Both legs were on time, the meals were excellent, and the chouce of movies was more than adequate. I will fly with JAL again."

However, when the meal was being served, there was only a chicken or pork option and my vegetarian meal had either not been properly booked or had been forgotten. When I informed the staff, I was asked to show proof that I ordered a veggie meal. I could not pull up my email confirmation as we were flying and there was no internet access. I had to lug my bag out of the overhead and search for a print out confirmation. I had not come prepared with the "evidence" the stewardess wanted. While the staff tried to be polite, I also found them to be quite rude, demanding that I produce evidence. Could they not have simply given me an extra salad without all the fuss? I felt I was being treated as a criminal for requesting a veggie meal that had, unfortunately, not been recorded in their system."

Prós: "I've been always flying with U.S. airlines this past several years just because transits are easier. I forgot about how friendly and nicer JAL crews are. Their food is much much better. They served us with a cup of Haagen-Dazs icecream for dessert while a Fatboy is normally served by other airlines. I was impressed by how spacious the foot area of their economy seat is. Because I felt quite comfortable, I slept five hours straight during the flight which is phenomenal to me. I will definitely fly with JAL again!"

We were advised they changed us to a bulkhead row w/an unoccupied seat adjacent to his. Twice during the flight one of the flight attendants came to tell him that she would help him off the plane so to wait for her after the rest of the passengers disembarked. The meal was very tasty.Chicken karaage was not crispy but I wouldn't expect it to be. The rest of the items were well seasoned with the right consistency. Dessert was a flan custard with passion fruit sauce (very Hawaii!), even including a few seeds from the fruit as garnish."

The flight flew off course for almost 30 minutes, while the flight attendants required everyone to remain seated due to supposed turbulence. We felt no turbulence for almost 25 mins. No update was given to passengers while we flew far off course. I motioned to the flight attendant, who was seated due to turbulence warning, to ask why we were off-course, but she could not get up. Many passengers were pointing to the flight path animation, to point out that we were flying straight north, instead of southeast. The flight attendant then called the captain for an update, and then the captain finally made an announcement about weather delays around shanghai."

The flight from Houston to Frankfurt was atrocious. Our seats were in Coach; these rows provided no leg room, and if you needed to exit your row, you had to ask the passenger in front of you to straighten their seat, so you had a bit more room to go to the restroom. For our return flight, we decided to upgrade our seats. Lufthansa refused to give us credit for the seats we had already selected and paid for when we initially booked our flight ($60) and charged us $125 each to sit on a row with more leg room. In addition, we missed our Lufthansa connecting flight in Frankfurt because the flight from Houston left late. We walked the Frankfurt airport for hours, looking for someone to assist us. Terrible experience! Needless to say, we will never fly Lufthansa again.

O problema foi com a bagagem de todos os passageiros. Depois de uma hora e trinta quando formou-se uma enorme fila para reclamar as malas a bagagem foi lebrada. Até então nenhuma informação. Muitos passageiros habitantes de Munique foram embora e suas bagagens estavam na esteira.

All is well

Rude flight attendants, horrible customer service, had to show the same documents 3 times after being check and cleared once. Flight attendants acted like they couldn’t hear what we are asking even though we spoke all the languages they did. It was not a pleasant flight and as a cherry on top all of our suitcases got lost.

Contras: "Transiting at Manchester between our Frankfurt to SFO flights was dreadful. They made us go through security and the inspectors were so incompetent they caused a huge back-up. Took an hour to get through. Avoid Manchester. Then they lost my luggage...still missing after a week."

Contras: "Our flight was cancelled from Nashville to Chicago due to "mechanical issue" so we were unable to get on the flight to Naples. United rebooked us on a flight leaving the next day, and we are currently sitting in Chicago on a 6 hour layover. So no, I am not happy at all with this experience. We are missing a day in Italy and have been charged a day stay in Sorrento which we are unable to use. I have contacted United customer service to see if they can compensate us."

Contras: "O funcionário que nos atendeu em Beirute era mal educado. Sala VIP horrorosa. O banheiro era pior que o banheiro de uma rodoviária suja. Os assentos são apertados. Na verdade não são assentos de classe executiva. São assentos comuns, em que eles bloqueiam o assento do meio. Não tem banheiro privativo da classe executiva, o banheiro tinha fila o tempo todo. A comida era medíocre. Enfim, jamais pague um voo de executiva pela Lufthansa nessa rota."

Prós: "Height Space, good pilot and some of the food. Good landing and overall pilot skill."

Contras: "For the whole journey I had a small child kicking, knocking, tapping behind me. Kept waking me up also nearly ten hours of whining. I was genuinely uneasy and uncomfortable for the whole trip. I think there should be a designated child with adult area as I really don’t think this is acceptable. It is stressful enough traveling for 30+ hours this really is not welcome."

A cobrança de mala de bordo para voo internacional é um absurdo, ainda mais com um valor acima de outras companhias que cobram por mala despachada. Avião totalmente desconfortável, banheiro sujo. PAREM DE BUSCAR PASSAGEM DA KIWI. Essa empresa não respeita os clientes. Só comprei a passagem na kiwi porque apareceu na minha busca do kayak, como é o site que eu sempre utilizava e o que eu mais confiava para comprar passagens comprei, e só tive problemas. Quando fui buscar mais sobre a empresa vi que a reputação dela é péssimas e tinham muitos clientes descontentes. Fiquei muito decepcionada com a Kaiak por isso. Se vcs se importam com os clientes de vcs, tirem a kiwi dos mecanismos de busca, para que outros clientes não tenham a mesma experiência frustrada.

Quando chegaram em nós para servir q comida, já não havia mais nenhuma opção, apenas macarrão. Eu não como massa, então acabei ficando sem o jantar. Muito ruim!

reduziram absurdamente as porções de comida! Na janta serviram ou macarrão ou carne com batatas escolhi a carne por encher mais o estomago mas foi uma porção absurdamente pequena , junto com uma tirinha de pão e 1 alfajor... antes serviam porção de salada, sobremesa e uma porção decente de comida! Café da manhã foi um sanduíche de queijo com presunto ou omelete aí tem escolha de iogurte ou fruta, bem diferente de como era, serviam pão, iogurte e fruta para todos! Sem contar que no meio do vôo não serviram nem água nem nada

O embarque foi uma bagunça. Não organizam a fila, não conferem se as pessoas que estão entrando são realmente do grupo certo. Cheguei e tinha uma pessoa no meu lugar (na janela), o lugar dela era corredor, provavelmente o grupo dela era depois do meu e entrou antes. Fora o fato do atraso em sair. Muito ruim.

Atualmente existe a possibilidade de preparar a documentação para a viagem com antecedência, de modo a ganhar tempo nos processos de check in e embarque. A Latam até que tem uma tentativa de automatizar previamente esse processo, mas não funciona bem. Aceita apenas arquivos em PDF, mas o formulario Anvisa não tem versão PDF (apenas e-mail).

Nada para reclamar. No quesito atendimento da Latam via telefone (SAC) sobre dúvidas da viagem fui excepcionalmente bem recebida. Fiquei muito feliz. Obrigada!!!

They didn’t give any food so I was starving in the end of flight and one of the flight attendants wasn’t polite with passengers.

Pediram pra despachar uma bagagem de mão e, chegando na cabine, as prateleiras de bagagens estavam vazias. Inaceitável.

A aeronave estava muito fria.

o embarque demorou mais de uma hora, e depois ficamos mais uma hora aguardando documento de embraque com lista de passageiros para liberarem o voo.

Cheguei com 1 hora de antecedência no aeroporto e me impediram de embarcar, alegando que as novas regras da ANAC pedem antecedência de duas horas.

Vôo atrasou mais de 6 horas e a empresa com total descaso para com os clientes

O portão de embarque usualmente utilizado para esta rota, é um dos piores do aeroporto de Guarulhos; fica no piso inferior, com 2 ou 3 portoes de embarque e além de geralmente o espaço estar lotado, o acesso à aeronave se dá através de um onibus. Gostei do desembarque feiro por fileiras.
