Top Games on PC in March 2022

In March 2022, the top PC games in the world by monthly active users were Fortnite, Minecraft, CS:GO, League of Legends, and Roblox. Fortnite claimed the #1 spot as the most popular game in the world on desktop and laptop in March, taking over Minecraft.

CS:GO overtook League of Legends and made the top 3, with Roblox rounding off the top five. Other titles in the top 10 games PC include Valorant, Grand Theft Auto V, Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare/Warzone, and Rocket League.

Trending Games and Biggest Movers

The top games ranking on PC remained largely consistent; however, there were some changes. The biggest movers this month were Elden Ring, Overwatch, Cyberpunk 2077 and Lost Ark.

• Elden Ring, Bandai Namco Entertainment’s newly released open world action RPG, rose 7 spots to number 13 in March 2022.
• Blizzard’s first-person-shooter Overwatch rose by 4 positions and landed on number 15.
• CD Projekt’s Cyberpunk 2077 dropped 6 positions to number 18.
• Lost Ark, Smilegate’s RPG, just made the top 20 most played video games on PC after dropping 9 positions in the ranking in March 2022.

Game Publishers Performance

Riot Games is the only publisher to feature two video games in the top 10 PC games ranking.

The top publishers by number of games included in the top 20 PC games are:

• Activision Blizzard with three games on the ranking
• Two games on the ranking: Riot Games (owned by Tencent) and Valve with two games each
