I filed my taxes Jan 27, 2020 everything was accepted it was cool. I get my State taxes, but no Federal taxes. I then get a letter in the mail. It said to do nothing, guess it was a 60 day review. Then COVID happened. Months later when the IRS finally answered their phones they say I had a mathematical error on my withholdings. I do an amended return in August 2020. I check my tax transcripts and find that I was audited a few days before I sent my amended return in. Months later my audit was reversed. I now have a code 290 and can’t find out what it means. It has a cycle code on it does that mean I’ll get my tax return? Please help they aren’t answering the phones again due to the second stimulus checks and bye I never got my first one because my taxes weren’t processed. I wonder if I won’t get my second because my taxes are still not processed.

I also randomly looked at my 2020 transcripts and it has a code 971 and the 290 code as well. Please help.
