Why is Inosuke girly face?

Inosuke Hashibara is one of the protagonists of Demon Slayer and one of the series’ most popular characters without a doubt. This quirky character, best known for being shirtless most of the time and for wearing a boar mask, is a true fan favorite because he is original, authentic and he is always consistent with himself. But, due to his specific appearance, people often wonder whether Inosuke is a boy or a girl in Demon Slayer and in this article, we are going to answer that question for you.

Inosuke Hashibara is undoubtedly a boy in Demon Slayer. Save for the somewhat feminine face and longer hair, Inosuke has absolutely nothing girl-like on him. He has a deep male voice, he doesn’t have female bodily features, and he refers to himself using male personal pronouns, which is usually very important in an anime series to determine whether a character is a boy or a girl.

In the rest of this article, we are going to tell you what you need to know about the issue of Inosuke Hashibara and his gender. It is now clear that he is a boy but we are going to explain how the issue arose and why some people thought that Inosuke was actually a girl. If you’re not fully up to date with Demon Slayer, there might be some spoilers ahead.

Is Inosuke a girl or a boy in Demon Slayer?

Inosuke is a young man of average height and pale complexion with an extremely toned and muscular build for his age, possessing large, defined muscles, particularly over the abdomen and arms. In sharp contrast, he has an incredibly pretty and feminine face with large eyes framed by a row of long lashes.

His thick, black hair falls to just above his shoulders, turning blue at the tips, forming an unruly and uneven fringe that falls just above his eyes. Inosuke wears an altered version of the Demon Slayer uniform consisting only of the hakama pants. The pants are dark gray-blue toned and fasten around the hips with a thick belt made of fluffy brown animal fur.

The usual cloth wraps are replaced with knee-high socks made of furry fur, exposing his heels and toes. His most distinctive feature is the grey, hollowed-out boar’s head, which he wears to mask his own head. But the eyes have been removed so that he can see something through them.

Now, as you can see from the photo above, Inosuke does have a very feminine face, which is why people thought he might be a girl. But if you look at everything else, he’s quite obviously a boy. First of all, if he were a girl, he wouldn’t be walking around shirtless. Also, he wouldn’t have such a deep voice, probably, and he would probably refer to himself using feminine personal pronouns, which is not the case with Inosuke.

He does look persuasive as a girl, we have to give him that, but so did Tanjiro; Zenitsu would’ve also, had they not exaggerated with his makeup. Be that as it may, Inosuke Hashibara is definitely a boy in Demon Slayer and there is absolutely no doubt as to that.

Does Inosuke behave like a girl?

Inosuke was extremely temperamental, impulsive, short-tempered, and full of inordinate pride. His pride was such that he was even willing to fight opponents who were technically stronger than him. He was not the kind of person who would stop to think about the level difference between him and his opponent, which often put him in serious danger of dying.

This has happened on several occasions, such as when he was convinced that he could defeat the Upper Six Moons, Daki and Gyutaro, after being influenced by Tengen Uzui’s words. He sometimes had trouble admitting defeat to him, so he was a sore loser and was always trying to compete against Tanjiro Kamado and provoke him into fighting him, failing miserably in his attempts.

Despite this, Inosuke deep down seemed to have an insecurity that he hid with his arrogant attitude for not knowing how to adapt to those around him and because of his fear of being rejected for being different. His low self-esteem is revealed after his defeat against one of the Spider Demons and later humiliation by the Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka, even apologizing to his teammates for his weakness. Because he grew up alone in the mountains, Inosuke had trouble interacting with others and only cared about himself most of the time.

However, as time passes, he becomes more influenced by the kindness and good deeds of the people around him, and he also begins to think and use strategies before facing an opponent. Every time he interacted with other people that he did not know, the first thing he did was assume that he was an enemy and that he thought of attacking him ready to fight him, this may be due to having grown up surrounded by wild animals which, as an instinctive reaction to danger or towards something unknown they are on guard ready to defend themselves against any possible threat.

Similar to Tanjiro, Inosuke lacked common sense and was easily amazed by things and places he had never seen before. When they were about to go to the train where the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, was, Inosuke was put on guard and assumed that the train was the “boss” of that place and was prepared to fight against it, being stopped and suppressed by Zenitsu.

Over the course of the series, Inosuke became more centered and focused on his missions as a demon hunter, demonstrated during the mission in the Entertainment District when he infiltrated as a courtesan and was quietly investigating the possibility of a demon’s presence there. place, demonstrating also possess a competent ability to analyze and intuit.

And, after this analysis of his personality, it becomes quite clear that Inosuke Hashibara is not a girl, nor does he behave like one. The confusion probably comes from him having to dress up like a girl and having a feminine face, but we’ve cleared it all up for you here.
