Auburn defeated Alabama 100-81.

Auburn center Walker Kessler set a screen above the top of the key for Wendell Green Jr. Kessler then dove to the basket, and Green found him for a dunk with 10:22 left in the first half. Kessler's dunk put Auburn up 21-16 vs. Alabama. 

Auburn's Devan Cambridge dunk 

Auburn forward Devan Cambridge dunked on an assist from Wendell Green Jr. with 14:04 left in the first half. Cambridge's dunk cut the Alabama lead to 10-8.

The Auburn and Oregon State baseball teams meet in Game 2 of the NCAA Tournament Corvallis Super Regional on Sunday, June 12.

Oregon State defeated Auburn 4-3.

Auburn went to 41-20 overall. Oregon State improved to 48-17 overall.

OSU's Cooper Hjerpe leaves to standing ovation

Oregon State starting pitcher Cooper Hjerpe left the game with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning. The crowd gave Hjerpe a standing ovation as he came out of the game. He had six strikeouts with three runs, three hits, and two walks allowed in 5 2/3 innings vs. Auburn.

Oregon State starting pitcher Cooper Hjerpe struck out Auburn's Kason Howell for the final out in the bottom of the fourth inning. It was Hjerpe's 160th strikeout of the season.

Auburn's Brody Moore hit a double to center field that drove in Brooks Carlson from second base in the bottom of the fourth inning. Carlson's run tied the game 2-2 with Oregon State.

OSU's Travis Bazzana solo home run

Oregon State's Travis Bazzana hit a solo home run over the right-field fence in the top of the fourth inning. Bazzana's homer put OSU up 2-0 vs. Auburn.

Oregon State cleanup hitter Jacob Melton hit a solo home run over the left-center field fence in the top of the fourth inning. Melton's homer put the OSU Beavers up 1-0 vs. Auburn. 

Auburn's Nate LaRue throws out baserunner

Auburn catcher Nate LaRue threw out Oregon State leadoff hitter Justin Boyd at second base for the first out in the top of the first inning. Auburn shortstop Brody Moore got the putout on the play.

KD Johnson now has five points one minute into the fourth quarter after a corner three. Israel responds with a three of their own. Defense starting to slip just a little for Auburn.

A smooth step-back three from Allen Flanigan gives Auburn 100 points on the night. 100-47 with 4:53 to go.

Jaylin Williams falls hard on his back contesting a layup and is slow to get up. Williams has 9 points and 8 rebounds. Israel knocks down a three to cut the lead to 52.

A strong finish after a miss by Chris Moore gives Auburn 111 points. Israel knocks down a three, and Traore gets a nice feed for a two-hand jam. Two-points jumper for Israel, and another feed from Tre Donaldson, this time to Babatunde Akingbola. A bit of a scoring flurry here at the end.

Donaldson gets a steal, and Traore gets an emphatic reverse dunk to end the game.

Quarterback Bryce Young connected with wide receiver John Metchie III on a 2-point conversion in the fourth overtime Saturday to seal a 24-22 victory for No. 3 Alabama over Auburn in the first Iron Bowl game to go to OT. 

The win moved the Crimson Tide to 11-1 (7-1 SEC). Auburn finished its regular season 6-6 (3-5 SEC).

Young completed 25 of 51 passes for 317 yards, with two touchdowns and an interception. He was under heavy pressure from the Tigers' defense throughout the game. Auburn sacked him seven times. The interception, by safety Bydarrius Knighten in the third quarter, was Young's first in 227 passing attempts.

Alabama star wide receiver Jameson Williams recorded two catches for 43 yards before he was ejected for a targeting penalty in the second quarter. The Crimson Tide finished the game with 11 penalties for 129 yards while the Tigers had seven for 53 yards.

Alabama came into the game as the SEC West champion, so this year's Iron Bowl was about preserving its chance at securing a spot in the College Football Playoff. The Tide will face No. 1 Georgia in the SEC championship game Saturday in Atlanta.
