What begins with J in Minecraft?

If you count Unbreaking Enchantment Book, than there is one for "U". Edit: Zombie head is a block that starts with "Z".

Hey everyone! LightninZombWolf here, bringing a new and different blog! This one is about Minecraft and the alphabet.

~Lemme explain~

Basically, what I thought of doing was to think of minecraft related things for every letter of the alphabet and then explain what it is or why I chose that for that letter. This blog will be like a tribute to the game.

Of course I'd be saying stuff about the items I picked for each letter that you already know so I'll just write a short description of each item.

~Idk if someone did this already and if someone did, I'm not trying to copy them. I thought of this idea while my 3yr old cousin was singing the alphabet over and over when he came over for a visit... xD~

~Lets start with Minecraft A to Z!~

A for Anvil

An anvil is used to repair tools, weapons or armor. It can also combine enchantments. I chose this because I find anvils very useful. They've saved a load of my tools before :3

B for Biomes

There are so many different biomes in the game, about 62 of them in total. Dark oak, savanah, mesa, birch forest, swamp, mushroom, you name it! Each biome is unique and many different things can be found in each biome. Because they are very unique, I chose them to be my letter B.

C for Crafting

Survival mode revolves around crafting materials to survive. The game wouldn't be the same without crafting. There are so many things you could craft too! I think this is really makes the game more interesting.

D for Dragon

The Ender Dragon! Who could forget about him? He's one of two bosses the game has. He is definitely a challenge for players to defeat so therefore I chose him. It is definitely an interesting experience to go into the End and defeat this guy.

E for Enchantments

Several different enchantments could be obtained throughout the game which help with a player's efficiency and protection. Enchantments can be obtained via an enchantment table & lapis or an anvil. I like using enchantments for the games I make hehe.

F for flowers

Flowers are pretty decorations to have! They make a place more lively and colorful! They also can be turned into dye to make other items/blocks colorful too. I like using flowers to brighten up my builds

G for Glistering melon

I picked this for letter G because it is such an interesting and unique item. Although they aren't edible, they're used to make mundane & healing potions. I wish I could eat this golden melon xD

H for Healing potion

Speaking of glistering melons, H for healing potion! Healing potions have helped me restore my health quickly in PvP matches & in near death situations in survival mode. I placed this potion here as a thank you for saving my life xD (No pic bec I can't fit more than 25 pics, you know what it looks like anyway right? :P)

I for Ice

Ice is solid/frozen water. The end.

Hehe jk it's more than that! It's found in ice spikes biomes and in tundra biomes. I use ice a lot when making parkour because it is slippery (usually packed ice since it doesn't melt). It makes parkour an even harder challenge in my opinion.

J for Jukebox

Jukeboxes are currently only in the Pc and console editions of the game. I love music and so I chose this block. To play music, you've got to get at least 1 of the 12 music disks to play music in the jukebox.

K for Knockback

I don't think anything else in the game starts with K so I chose the enchantment knockback. It knocks any entity backwards when you hit it with a sword that has this enchantment. This enchantment is what made my minigame called knockback work in the first place :)

L for Lightning

Lightning occurs during a thunderstorm. Entities hit by this either get cooked, set on fire or die. Some mobs turn into a different mob with hit by lightning. Idk, I find the lightning in the game interesting to watch & look at.

M for mobs

Mobs play a big role in the game, whether they are passive, hostile or neutral. Without mobs, the game wouldn't be as fun or challenging. I decided to place them for letter M because I like the mobs, even when they frustrate me when they kill me xD. Good thing about them? pets!

N for Nether

This dimension is like "hell" with its overall red color and the lava/fire. It's very dangerous here and is home to many dangerous mobs like ghasts, blaze, etc. There's great treasure here though; different blocks to collect and a nether fortress to find.

O for Ores

Ores also have a big role to play in the game, especially in survival mode. You virtually couldn't make anything good without ores. I chose this for letter O because it is always a challenge to find each of the 8 ores, especially emeralds and diamonds.

P for Portals

There are 2 portals in the game to go to either the End or the Nether. Nether portal sizes are customizable and end portals frames can be destroyed without destroying the actual portal! I like these because they lead to so much adventure in the other dimensions.

Q for Quartz

Quartz is an ore and can be found in the Nether. When mined, these can make quartz blocks. There are three different types of quartz blocks. Chiseled & pillar quartz can be faced in different directions. I like the overall look of quartz and is one of my favorite blocks to use in my builds.

R for Redstone

I love making contraptions & machines with redstone and experimenting with redstone devices. Redstone is very interesting to work with and when you get the hang of it you can make awesome machines! To make these machines, redstone dust, repeaters, redstone torches & a variety of other items are needed.

S for Stronghold

These can be found in any world, underground. Throw an eye of Ender in the air and follow it. It'll lead you to the nearest stronghold. Adventure begins here as End portals are found here.

T for Terracotta

This was a recent addition to the PE version and I liked the blocks, especially the glazed terracotta. Several patterns can be made with the glazed ones when you put them together, facing certain directions. Very interesting and colorful blocks indeed! I have yet to use them in my builds xD

U for Underground

The fun and adventure first begins here before anything else for every survival world! Cave systems, ravines, dungeons, strongholds & ect are all underground. If you want to look for ores and gather materials, underground is the place to go!

V for Vindicators

These guys spawn in groups in woodland mansions and are like evil villagers or illagers :0

They will attack with an iron axe. They deal a pretty good amount of damage so I wouldn't want to fight with many of them at once...

W for Wither

The wither is another boss in the game. As you know, they are spawned by making a T shape with soul sand and placing 3 wither skeleton skulls on top of it. They are really destructive as they blow up its surroundings. I find this guy really challenging too :P

X for X coordinate

Yeah yeah, I know, this one's boring.... So boring I didn't bother getting a photo (and also it won't fit). This was the only thing I could think of that starts with X so I'm sorry about that. The X coordinate basically tells your position in the directions east or west. X axis = east to west aka latitude.

Y for Yellow

I couldn't think of anything except for the color xD

Anyway, yellow dye is obtained by getting a dandelion. Yellow dye is used to turn a variety of items yellow so I guess it's handy! Go support the color yellow xD

Z for Zombie

I'm a huge fan of zombies so I couldn't resist putting it for letter Z. Zombies strive to eat your brain. They are hostile mobs that spawn at night or in dark places. They burn in the day unless they are in water or have a helmet. They are relatively easy mobs to take down.

There are so many other things that can be placed for each letter! So many other possibilities :) Minecraft is a game with so many possibilities & adventure! That's what I think makes it a good game.
